The data & licence

Every fact on this site — what a product is, what is in it, its specs, and where each fact came from — is open data. Prices are not: they move, so no page here shows one it hasn’t confirmed. Product pages link to the store instead.

Getting the full dataset

The dataset is public at github.com/sedhuait/oc-data: one JSON Lines file per brand, every record with its sources and the date each was checked.

Licence

The dataset is released under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). You can copy, redistribute and build on it; attribution and share-alike apply. The code that produces it, including this site, is closed source and not licensed for reuse. Source documents we mirror stay the property of the issuer or manufacturer that published them.

For machines

• Every product page carries its facts as JSON-LD (Product or FinancialProduct).
• /sitemap.xml — every URL, with real last-modified dates from source checks.
• /robots.txt — explicitly allows GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and CCBot.
• /llms.txt — what this dataset is, in plain text, for agents.

Corrections

Every product page has a “Report a wrong fact” link, or write to [email protected]. A correction needs a source for the new fact: a label photo, the brand’s page, a regulator filing.
